Cybersecurity Conference in Toruń

On April 29th, 2015 the conference about cybersecurity (Security of the information in the Infostrade of the Kuyavian – Pomeranian Region Project ) was held in Toruń. Organization of the Conference was a joint project of the Informatization Departament in the Kuyavian – Pomeranian Regional Government Office and the Jagiellonian College from Toruń.

During the Conference the papers were presented by prof. Richard Warner from the Chicago – Kent College of Law (Illinois Institute of Technology), prof. David Thaw from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, prof. Wojciech Cyrul from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, prof. Janusz Petzel from the University of Warsaw and prof. Jacek Janowski from Maria Curie – Skłodowska University in Lublin. Academic coordination was conducted by prof. Grzegorz Górski form the Jagiellonian College in Toruń.

The Conference led also to the establishment of the academic network between engaged universities. The network will concentrate on projects related to the  functioning of e – admnistration in Poland.
